Im Oktober 2016 startete unsere nächste Tour:
6 Monate Australien mit unserem Wohnmobil



Diesmal nur wir zwei -
ohne Seabridge-Organisation, ohne Reiseleitung, ohne Reisegruppe.
Lediglich unser Wohnmobil verschiffen wird über Seabridge von Südafrika, Port Elisabeth nach Australien, Sydney. Alles andere organisieren wir selbst  :-)

Jetzt freuen wir uns auf den uralten Kontinent Australien, denn seine Geschichte beginnt mit den Aborigines.
Dieser Völkerstamm lebt bereits seit mehr als 50.000 Jahren auf dem australischen Kontinent.

Australien ist das einzige Land, das gleichzeitig auch ein Kontinent ist.

Mit 7,7 Millionen km² sechsgrößter Staat der Erde
 mit einer Nord-Süd-Ausdehnung von etwa 3700 km, die Ost-West-Ausdehnung circa 4000 km.

Die Landfläche ist größer als die der EU, trotzdem hat es nur 20,5 Millionen Einwohner, von denen zudem 92 % in den großen Städten im Südosten, in Perth und auf Tasmanien leben. Das Hinterland (Outback) ist extrem dünn besiedelt.
Manche Bauernhöfe haben hier die Größe deutscher Bundesländer!

Um den ganzen Kontinent zu bereisen,
sind selbst 6 Monate viel zu kurz!
Wir werden - vor allem jahreszeit- und klimabedingt - den Süden Australiens erkunden.

 "On the road again"...

Our next tour started in October 2016:
6 months Australia with our campervan

And this time only the two of us -
no Seabridge-Organization, no tour guides, no group.
Only our campervan will be shipped with Seabridge
from Port Elizabeth, South Africa to Sydney, Australia.

We are looking forward to explore the age-old continent Australia, its history begins with the Aborigines more than 50.000 years ago.

Australia is the only country which is also a continent.

With 7,7 Million km²  it is the 6th biggest state on earth.
 The North-South -distance is app. 3700 km, the East-West distance app. 4000 km.

The area is bigger than Europe, but inhabits only 20,5 Million people, of which app. 90 % live in the neighborhood of the big cities.
 The Outback is sparsely populated.
Some farms have the size of a German state!

6 months are too short to travel through the whole continent!
But at some point we do not want to lose our social contacts at home.
Due to the climate conditions (summer season) we will explore only the South of Australia.
