Vor dem Frühstück eine Runde joggen im Park vom Château Montebello, die Beine sind bleischwer à wir müssen öfters trainieren!?!
Wir verlassen Quebec. In Ontario versteht man uns endlich wieder. ON PARLE FRANCAIS in Amerika ist vorbei!
Nach einem Bummel durch Merrickville http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merrickville%E2%80%93Wolford , einem pittoresken Städtchen mit vielen Schleusen am Rideau-Kanal landen wir auf einem Campingplatz am See www.mcgowanlake.com , wir schwimmen wir erst mal eine Runde – herrlich erfrischend.

We finaly started jogging before breakfast, the park of Château Montebello was our first challenge -> we need to train more.
We leave Quebec for Ontario and what a surprise.... we can understand people! ON PARLE FRANCAIS is over!

Am meisten erfährt man über die kanadische Lebensweise, wenn man einen einen Kanadier trifft. Wir besuchten Frank, der von Leonberg nach Kanada auswanderte, in Innisfil 80 km nördlich von Toronto in seinem urgemütlichen Haus. Danke, lieber Frank, für den sehr gemütlichen Abend bei Chicken Wings, Bier und Lagerfeuer in eurem Garten.

You learn most about cultures if you meet people. We had the opportunity to meet an old friend from Joes hometown who emmigrated > 25 years to Innisfil a small town 80 km north of Toronto.

Bei Traumwetter besichtigen wir die Niagara-Fälle. Jedes Jahr führt es Millionen Besucher hierher – einfach ein Muss und eines der größten Naturwunder der neuen Welt.
Das absolute Niagara-Erlebnis war für uns die Fahrt mit der Maid of the Mist. Die Barkasse fährt bis dicht an die
Fälle mitten in die Gischt hinein, ein feuchter Spaß.

Drei Tage auf dem Campingplatz KOA. Mit Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Waschmaschine, Trockner - optimal! Wir haben alles genutzt :-)

Sunny and warm weather at Niagara-Falls! – a must for all visitors.
The absolut highlight is the boatride with the Maid of the Mist, the boat goes dircetly in the spray and the outcome is pretty wet!

Unsere Nachbar-Wohnmobile auf den Campingplätzen sind im Durchschnitt fast doppelt so lang und breit wie wir, ganz oft mit angehängtem Auto.

Reisen bildet bekanntlich … Auf unserem Weg von den Niagara-Fällen nach Ludington sind wir in St. Jacobs im Mennonite Country auf den Spuren frommer Einwanderer, u.a. auch aus Süddeutschland. Wir haben Glück und erleben einen Sonntags-Gottesdienst im Freien mit Gesang.

A short detour on the way to USA brought us to St. Jacobs, the Mennonite tourist capital in Ontario. The museum gave us an interesting insight about their heritage.
